YG “Fully Prepared” for BLACKPINK’s Group Comeback, to Happen after Members’ Solo Schedules

In 2025, BLACKPINK’s comeback as a group is expected to happen after individual members finish their solo activities. Additionally, a world tour is said to follow immediately after the group comeback.
YG, which has been struggling due to the absence of a core IP, has made thorough preparations to fully support BLACKPINK upon their return.
Particularly, back on the 17th, YG announced that it has reorganized its business structure, including ending its actor management business, in order to focus on its main business, music. It has also been reported that YG has even formed a separate project organization internally for BLACKPINK, who will be starting a world tour along with their comeback this year.
In fact, last year, the members of BLACKPINK each actively pursued solo activities in their own nests. Jennie, Lisa, and Rosé have established themselves as solo artists with global success, while Jisoo has also focused on acting and building her career.
Jisoo will reportedly make her comeback as a solo singer with an album on Valentine’s Day (February 14th). This is Jisoo’s first comeback in two years since her solo debut with “FLOWER” in March 2023.

After ending her individual contract with YG, Jisoo established her own label called BLISSOO in February last year and has been carrying out acting activities. As such, fans are curious about the music color she will present via her music release this time.
Jisoo’s debut song “Flower” ranked No.6 on Spotify, No.38 on the UK Official Single Chart, No.1 on iTunes Worldwide and No.1 on Global YouTube’s song and music video charts. These impressive achievements proved Jisoo’s potential as a solo artist.

Lisa will also return to the music race on April 29th. She plans to continue growing as a singer by releasing her first full album “ALTER EGO”.
In a recent interview with the US magazine Billboard, Jennie also unveiled that she had completed preparing for her new album. The overall sound of the album, which embraces various music genres and elements, is said to have been created based on Jennie’s preferences. Among the four BLACKPINK members, Jennie was the first person to achieve significant mainstream success with “SOLO”. Therefore, many have high hopes for the album’s quality.

Earlier, BLACKPINK promised to make their comeback as a whole group in 2025 after spending time developing their personal careers through solo activities. Since the four of them are still growing fiercely in their respective positions, BLACKPINK’s group promotions and world tour under YG Entertainment are attracting keen attention.

In the 10th year of their career, BLACKPINK has become a global girl group and top-class singers by setting new records every day.
